To control algae in swimming pools. A weekly dose of Algae Guard Super will help control algae growth and reduce the amount of sanitizer used.
Treatment
An initial dose rate of 300mls Algae Guard Super per 10m³ is recommended followed by weekly doses of 50mls per 10m³. If algae are present or at close down at the end of the season add 500mls per 10m³.
Application
Adjust pH of the pool water to pH 7.2-pH 7.6 add the required volume directly to the pool water at the return inlets. When algae are present, shock dose the pool with sanitizing agent, brush pool surfaces to remove algae into suspension. Add Algae Guard Super to the pool water near the return inlets with the filter running. Check pool after 24 hours, if algae still present repeat shock dose and cleaning process.
