`Concentrated long term algae control`
Copper alkanolamine complex for the control of algae in swimming pools and spas.
Treatment
Longlife Algaecide is formulated to be effective against most algae for 3-6 months. Prevention of algae growth by regular use can significantly reduce the amounts of sanitizer required by reducing the algae demand on sanitizer. Longlife Algaecide does not destroy bacteria.
Application
Adjust the pool water pH to pH 7.2-pH 7.6. Add 1.5 litres Longlife Algaecide per 50m³ pool water at the pool return inlets. Keep circulation running to ensure good mixing. Use a copper pool testing kit to check levels of copper periodically. Maximum copper level 1 ppm. When copper level falls below 0.4mg/litre (ppm). A top up dose of 600 mls per 50m³ is recommended.
