Klearpool Phosphate Remover 2.5 Litres

Klearpool phosphate remover specifically targets phosphate levels in swimming pool water. High levels of phosphate encourage the formulation of algae (microscopic plants) which can cause the water to turn green. Phosphate levels are on the increase, left unchecked they provide the perfect source for algae

Klearpool Phoshate Remover is only suitable for sand media filters

Treatment

1. Check phosphate levels with a quality test kit, it is advisable to check the source watr for phosphate readings.
2. Ensure pH reading is between 7.2 and 7.5
3. Before adding, ensure the sand filter has been thoroughly back washed before application
4. Thoroughly shake container before use
5. Add directly to skimmer basket with filtration running
6. Add Klearpool Phosphate Remover at a rate of 500ml per 50m³ (11,000 gallons) over a period of a week. This container provides enough for 5 x 500ml applications
7. For phosphate levels (above 1ppm) it is recommended a double dose is applied
8. After the initial treatment (using the full container) re-test the water. For severe phosphate readings a second application may be required.
