OPC Multifunctional Chlorine Granules 2Kg
Rapid dissolving Multifunctional Chlorine Granules are specifically formulated for the effective disinfection and sanitisation of Swimming Pool, Spa and Hot Tub water. This product has an added Algaecide and Clarifier blended into the product to offer additional protection against algae and to improve water clarity.
Treatment
- Test the water for Free Chlorine using a CHLORINE TEST KIT.
- The ideal reading for Free Chlorine is 2 – 4 PPM (Parts per Million) and pH reading between 7.3 – 7.5.
- Ensure bathing has ceased before adding chemicals to the water.
- Add Multifunctional Chlorine Granules directly to the water (water temperature above 200C) and with water circulating near the inlets; avoid adding product near the skimmers and in windy conditions avoid facing the wind when adding to the water.
- To increase Free Chlorine readings by 1 PPM add 90g of Multifunctional Chlorine Granules per 50 M3 (11,000 gallons) of swimming pool water.
- After 4 hours re-test the water for Free Chlorine.
Storage & Handling
- Store in a cool, dry place away from oxidizing and reducing agents, strong acid, alkalis, solvents and organic materials.
- Do not mix with other chemicals.
- Always wear suitable gloves and eye protection when handling chemicals.
Use biocides safely. Always read the label and product information before use.
