OPC Showerhead Descaler and Sanitiser 5L
Shower Head Descaler and Sanitiser will descale and sanitise showerheads, plumbing fittings and sanitary ware in one operation. Our product is an acid based, ready to use liquid descaling and sanitising solution encompassing a proprietary biocide.
Shower Head Descaler and Sanitiser can be used sparingly on decorative and chromed finishes. On completion of descaling, components should be thoroughly rinsed with fresh mains water before reinstatement of service.
Shower Head Descaler and Sanitier has proven efficiency against Legionella
The European Legionella Disinfection Test Standard (1995) for Legionella Pneumophila Serogroup 1 (NTCC 11192) gave control at 30 second contact time for 1:3 dilutions.
Treatment:
- Dilute 1 part Shower Head Descaler and Sanitier to 3 parts water for routine descaling.
- Immerse showerhead in solution until scale has dissolved; allow 1 minute for sanitisation.
- Product can be used neat on heavy scale.
Test on a small area before application.
Shower Head Descaler and Sanitier should not be mixed with other products such as hypochlorite based solutions.
Storage & Handling
- Store in a cool, dry place away from oxidizing and reducing agents, strong acid, alkalis, solvents and organic materials.
- Do not mix with other chemicals.
- Always wear suitable gloves and eye protection when handling.
Use biocides safely. Always read the label and product information before use.
